Magic Christmas Cruise 2010 (Dec 18th - 29th) **** PART III ****

I wanted to throw out another possible DIS event. You don't have to sign up for this but whoever decides to go, maybe we can all sit together.

On the last night of the cruise the crew puts on a show called Pub Night. I believe it is held in Rockin Bar D at about 10:30pm. It is a great show if you have not seen it. We went for the first time several cruises ago and now it is a must do for our family. I know there are some who have little ones and won't be able to attend but it might work for those that have older kids or kids that might stay in the clubs. I also know it is the last night of the cruise which is a hetic night but believe me, you won't regret it.

If anyone knows for sure that they will be going let me know and maybe we can plan to have a few people get there early and save seats.
Oh, to see Christian in a tutu........ROTFLMAO.

Final FE Cabin map link posted on Page 1 of Part 3 ...... here will be no more updates, since I leave for FL in just a few days.

So sorry if this is an old topic but when is the shuttle launch date and time?
Here is the launch schedule web page:
http://www.nasa.gov/missions/highlights/schedule.html

Current launch schedule conflicts with the Hyatt meet. I don't know the exact statistics, but it seems to me that the shuttle runs at about a 50% probability, or less, of actually launching as scheduled. I would be careful about planning my whole day around it. Usually, you can see the launch from about anywhere in central FL and I have seen it as far away as Tampa. Find a clear view to the east around launch time and there it is. Don't follow the countdown on the internet or TV or you might miss it due to timing delays... Local radio stations, including FM 90.7 may cover it also.

20! That's today's big number. Days left to cruise and pounds I have lost since we booked in September, 11 weeks ago. Goal was to lose about 2 pounds per week over 14 weeks and I am pretty much on track. I am trying to drop a few extra pounds because I plan to gain some of them back on the cruise.

Off to EPCOT today; and ESPN Club is just outside the back gate if there is a must see NFL game...

I have always wanted to go to Pub night. So, I think it would be great.

Hey, Claire and I hit Nordstrom Rack last night - got some great last minute "designer" shoes and outfits. Very cheap - after they know the numbers in three didgits down to two and take of 50%!

Have fun at EPCOT and congrats on the missing pounds :thumbsup2

Cheat Sheet is great -- off to my printer, thanks!

Cruise shirt looks great! :goodvibes

Excited at the possibility of a shuttle launch, but no breath holding :cool2:

Rethinking clothing selections. Second guesing the temp in FL on departure and return. :scared:

Less than 3 weeks from attending Hogwarts :wizard:

Happy Sunday!
Caryn

This will be our 9th cruise, and we've only made it to Pub Night once, but SO worth it!!! Very cute! Just takes a little planning ahead! :)

I always seem to be packing that night. I am so slow at packing everything. Maybe this year I will get my packing done early and then we can go.

Will join you if I can be more organized this time around....:rolleyes1

I have always wanted to go to Pub night. So, I think it would be great.

Pub night is so much fun! I have seen it several times and I still get a kick out of it. :rotfl2:

Vicki - the tutu part is one of the best. Someone on the main thread posted a video and Brent came out in the tutu. That would be funny!:lmao:

I have to agree it is hard to make but I do what I can to get there. With late dinner it usually means running back to the cabin after dinner to put the luggage out then off to Pub Night. Since we have a sea day on the 27th this time, I might try to do a little packing that afternoon.

Like I said not a planned event but hopefully we can have a little DIS group there.

John - great job on the weight loss! Have fun at EPCOT!

Vicki - thanks so much for the FE map!

55+ degrees in STL today... :cool1:

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.. The Frids had tons to be thankful for.. God completed our family this year with our lil princess: Who got to see Santa for the first time ever..

We celebrated Christmas with my mom Thanksgiving morning.. She is not going to go with us on :santa:pirate: Although my aunts have plenty scheduled to keep her busy.. :dance3:

We packed again Saturday morning.. We are pretty close.. Narrowing it down to the final stuff.

I have one tux and two sport coats... just going to rotate those around. :rolleyes1 Can you believe it I got all my stuff into one suticase.. As for the ladies of the house.. :rolleyes1

Lori - I read about that story in the paper and thought, what jerks they were! It's a small world, huh?

On another note, I've become a Florida wimp! We went to Blizzard Beach on Wednesday. It was 84 degrees and I was freezing!!! My dh was laughing at me...

I am a wimp too. I was freezing in Vegas all week. This SoCal girl almost died when the temps dropped to 32 degrees. Thank goodness shopping and gambling are indoor sports.

My DH laughed at me too. Being an Oregon boy, he thinks that I need to suck it up.

Dreaming of warm Southern Caribbean nights:-)

Please let me know if I have missed anyone.

I'm going to be ordering my shirts later this afternoon when Zazzle has the discount. There are couple of shirts I want to get for Agnes too.

Please add me to the pack. I plan on "walking" it if my joints hold up.

The t-shirts are very cute:-) Love it.:thumbsup2

See mommylissa- you are going to have plenty of magnets! I bought another pack of paper last night just for you. You will likely have to decorate the front and back of your door! :thumbsup2

I am trying to remain calm but time is now flying, and I have no idea how I am going to get everything done before this cruise. :confused3 I am pretty sure that my kids have outgrown all good shoes and pants. We will be off to the mall with them in the next day or so. I was so concerned about myself, I forgot that they are growing too! :scared1:

Colette- you make me laugh giving me positive vibes about my jog to the mailbox. :rotfl: Perhaps I will make an effort to take the dogs for a longer jog/walk today.

Mdargen - I would also love a copy of the street map - thanks!

I am always interested in Champagne and tiaras, so count me in for Champagne Girls! Question - will it be later in the cruise so I have an opportunity to buy French Champagne in Martinique or Guadalupe? Hate to lug a bottle on in Port Canaveral when the good stuff can be bought in "France".

I will do CC5k BOTP club too! I am a walker but keep a fairly good pace. My DH and 2 DS's will probably run it, but leave me in the dust.

We will join the Hyatt (airport) group at 7 on the 17th, even though we are not staying there. I show the following families will be there:

IceSk8ers Mom
big AWL
DVC4US
HFC1969
anyone else???

Liz - :santa:

Yes, we will be there. I too am a walker. My pace is good. Liz, I will not leave you in the dust:-)

Hi everyone finished work now so only 2 more shifts next weekend then im officially on holdiay.
Angie I am glad I made you smile, I always praise everyone for any effort to get fitter or achieve a goal.Which leads me onto....

:goodvibes John that is such a good effort, I know its difficult to achieve weightloss and you must be feeling such a difference now.:goodvibes

Thanks for the phrase sheet.
I would like to join in the pub nigt if I can make it, im usually pretty organised but depends on the kids.

Congrats on loosing those extra pounds. I found a few pounds over Thanksgiving.

Have a great time at EPCOT.

Pub Night sounds fabulous. I have never made it to one, but there is a first for everything.

LeLani, I am glad that you had a wonderful trip. My trip was great. I loved the DWTS results. Jennifer's freestyle was my highlight.

Love it! Her smile says it all. Christmas is such a magical time for children.

Congrats on fitting it all in one suitcase.:thumbsup2 Now , the questions are: how big is the suitcase, and is it under 50 pounds?

oh! I hope so! I still have a lot of boas and tiara left from the WBTA in Sept. I can bring them. We actually had it my stateroom on the MED. We have a handicapped accessible room, and it's pretty big, plus we'll have a good sized balcony, too. If nobody else is hosting it, I will.

Just let me know if you want to participate, and if you will bring a bottle of champagne. I can deal with the glasses and the snacks.

Also, we have to decide on a date.

C'mon everyone, let me know!

Connie

Connie, I am ready!

Champagne Girls sounds so much fun! I will need a tiara. :rotfl::rotfl:

OK- I think I finally figured out zazzle and am excited for my new BOTP shirt.:cool1:

Santa picture with Vika is fabulous :thumbsup2 She is adorable!

Connie - I missed your original entry about the champagne club, but please count me in. I can bring a bottle of bubbly, but don't own a boa or tiara. Can I borrow from someone? Let me know when and where!
