We plan on getting there pretty early and signing our DD5 up for the tea. If you send me your info, I will try to add you with us. Do you have a preference on which sea day you do it? I don't want DD to miss the character breakfast, which should be the 20th for us based on our requested dining rotation., so I think we'll shoot for the 27th for tea?? Just let me know...

That would be great if you could I will PM you the info. We haven't gotten our docs yet, so don't know our dining rotation. (I'm assuming that's how you know that) Thanks so much!

For our Thanksgiving trip!

Alyssa and I are going to the mid-night showing of Harry Potter tonight and then we will leave about mid-day tomorrow for Florida.

Anyone living in Southern Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, or Alabama that might be along our route and maybe want to try a quick meet PM me. Camie - I will call when we are passing through Montgomery to see if you guys are still in town. Christie - I will call you sometime this weekend.

Ok, It's 4 o'clock in the morning here, I've been seeing patients for 27 straight hours, and I am deliriously exhausted. I'm clearly easily amused!

My name is Hawaiian(I'm not) so the first part is pronounced like the Hawaiian lei (Lay) and the second part is pronounced like Loni Anderson - so LeiLani. And yes it does have 2 capital L's.

Get some sleep girl! Ex is an orthopedic surgeon and a former flight surgeon so I know what you mean about long hours!

docs arrived today. Yea!!!! Guess I better get ready to start packing. Bit of a crisis yesterday as 97 yo mom (visiting from Denver) fell and broke her shoulder. She is going to be okay, just has pain and aches and tired/weak. Dr says she can go home as planned Nov 30. Put a minor crimp in working on FEs but hopefully will get back to that soon.

Is anyone else headed to Walt Disney World after the cruise to celebrate New Year's Eve? I don't think we will make it until midnight with a 5 year old but it should be a lot of fun since she has never been to any Disney park.

We are going to go to WDW the 29th and the 31st. On the 30th we are going to Universal Studios so I can see all the new Harry Potter stuff!!

Tea with Alice is literally a tea party with characters from Alice in Wonderland. The Mad Hatter is there, singing a "very merry un-birthday". Sometimes Wendy from Peter Pan is there too. It is billed as a "posh-yet-casual afternoon snack just for families" Afternoon service includes iced tea and cookies, and lessons in proper etiquette for hosting a tea party.

You can register once on board.

This sounds adorable. Is it horribly difficult to get tickets? Do I get them at guest services?

HAPPY THURSDAY TO EVERYONE! We are at the one month mark!!!!!! So exciting! Our house is turning into Christmas Headquarters this week-end since we are putting the tree up and outside decorations! If the kids were older I wouldn't worry as much about it since we are spending most of the holidays away but with the kids being young they are excited about doing all the traditional stuff!

So I do have a couple of first timer questions that I came up with after reading about Tea With Alice. This is something the kids especially our daughter wants to do and I had planned on signing up once we boarded. How exactly does boarding work? We plan on getting to the port early but didn't know if boarding starts at a certain time and how its organized? Does it go by order of which you check in? By last name? By deck?

As for the movies on board...gosh Harry Potter would be great right! We were hoping for Tangled and Tron so hopefully maybe Tron will be a Christmas Surprise! It comes out the day before the cruise so I thought for sure it would be there but maybe the Mouse has other plans for us .

Our kids got their call from Mickey today!! DD almost blew her top!!!!!

Its almost time to start Greys and Private Practice on the DVR so off I go!!!

OK- let me be clear. We are all 3 years older, and I am some pounds heavier than this. At least you will all recognize us on the ship. Both are taken on pirate night- once in costume, once in Caribbean dress. This year we have red and black Caribbean outfits in true holiday celebration.
