Magic Checkers Questions?

I just played my first Checkers game and it was great!! (I lost, but that's not the point. ) The girl I was playing against apologized everytime she jumped me... and other people in the room were encouraging and making nice comments from the sidelines! So all is not lost!! Niceness rules!!

One thing I think they should add to this game, a boot button. It's not fair to the people playing when others are helping one person by saying things like, "watch this", or "move that". It's likes 3 against 1 and I can see some kids getting very mad over this.

So all you people out there playing, don't be rude by helping the people playing, get in line and show what you got yourself.

LOL! One player on the sidelines was giving hints.... and then apologized for giving hints! I think there's a bit of a learning curve here... both for playing and for etiquette.

Hey, I'd rather spend my credits on multi-use magic, clothes and furniture. If others want to spend all of their credits on magic just to win checkers, then more power to them.

Later, when I play them again and they don't have magic because they're poor, I'll take my point back. That way, they'll lose twice...all their credits and all their checkers points.

Also, I'm not penalized by losing, so if they win with magic, then so be it...

Aww, GoofyGeggy, I hate to tell you this, but I think we still agree. I too would rather spend my credits on long-lasting VMK stuff than 1x use checkers magic, as well as get a laugh as others spend all their credits on 1x use magic.

A guy just used levitation magic on me during a game. I asked him why spend 500 credits to win 50? He said, "idk, didn't think about that" and the room laughed. (And I won.) I got a laugh out of the silly waste of credits, but if he had fun - yay for him!

And I find it hilarious that people get upset about paying 21 credits for pirates (which you EASILY get back if you win), but will spend 500 - x,000 credits to play a game of checkers and make close to nothing. Human behavior fascinates me, what can I say?

I just don't think it's the best way to set up the use of the magic. I really would love it if it was like the explode all in fireworks. Everyone gets it, once per game, to use if and how they want.
