Magic Bands ?

So.......is everything on it? key to get in room, park tickets, fast passes, ability to charge stuff to your room?

Yes, I have grown rather attached to my multitudes of them. at first I was against them but now I find then a large convenience!!

There's nothing ON the magic bands. You can lose them and nothing is lost. The band accesses your MDE account, which is where all the info is stored.

And ability to charge items to the magic band and using it as a hotel room key is only for on site guests.

So if we have the magic bands from last year can we use them this year along with the new ones. I would like to be able to switch colors during the trip.

From what I think I know, as long as the new bands are linked to the same MDE account as the old magic bands, the two sets are essentially clones of one another.

I was somewhat unenthusiastic about wearing one on our first trip with them, but it wasn't uncomfortable at all, and worked flawlessly (unlike the MDE app).

Yes. You can use any band you have that's linked to your MDE account.

I too wasn't at all sure I was going to tolerate wearing one. I don't even wear a watch for the most part. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn't really bother me at all, and the convenience was fantastic.

I also was a little worried about them, I have extreme sensory issues but had no issues with wearing one at all.
