Magic Bands?

we have magic bands from our trip last november. we are going back next april. do we use the same bands or can we get new one's in different colors?

If you want to just use an old set, how can you stop them from shipping a new set? Is there any way of checking your old one to make sure the battery is ok and it will work when you get there?

1. It's not really in your hands. Disney WANTS you to have a new set of MBs for EVERY RESORT STAY.
Some have tried to not get a new set. But then, they just issue a new set when guests check in.
(The bands are simply so inexpensive that they are virtually disposable.)

Just CALL.

You can get through to the tech support people who can suppress the shipment for a given resort stay. This was offered to me back for my January trip; it's not brand new anymore. Just call. They have the power.

But you can match your outfits and then when you get home think of all the uses. Wine glass identifiers for parties, christmas tree garland like the old construction paper one, Bag tags like luggage tags for your lunch bag in the office fridge, the little thingy you need on shopping bags when an item is to big and the handles dig into your hand....

Okay so I just got my 5th set had to come up with some reason to get so many LOL!

The battery life in the band will be fine. The bands haven't been out long enough yet to know the lifespan. So no bands yet have "died". And when they do, you'll still be able to enter the parks, it'll more so be harder to pick up ride photos and such from the rfid
