Magic Bands

I currently have a magic band from my Nov. 2014 trip linked to my annual pass. I have an on property stay in June for myself and others. When I go on my disney experience it shows that I need to order a magic band for myself and the others in my party - but I already have a magic band linked to my annual pass.

How do I delete the new magic band request as I don't need one.

You don't need to delete it. Just get another one, a different color to have a choice, if you'd like.

There might be a way to call and delete it, but frankly, I wouldn't want to take the chance that anything else would be deleted. It seems wasteful, I know, but it's the way Disney is working the system right now.

Since all the MBs do is serve as a way to access your MDX account, you can use both MBs at any point in your trip. I just finished two trips, a few days apart, and on the second trip I alternated between the two bands I had without a problem.

Is the MB you have right now from a resort stay or is it your AP MB? Did you get a slider that says Passholder and year? Not to mention your discount card. Personally I have every color and some doubles. Past year I've gone 5 times and renewed twice. Also I was just there last week took a set of every color and they all worked. I know seems like a waste but it's part of your resort stay. I wish they'd give discount on specialty bands if you don't order the standard ones.
