Magic Bands questions

I have a set of magic bands from this year's trip. Is it always free again to order another set with new resort reservation? (I just booked and see the link to customize again).

If I can get another set for the family, would I need to do something to "de-activate" the old set or both old and new sets can be used interchangeably for next trip?

2 year old, while he has a magic band, still doesn't need to use it for anything, right?

You can get new free ones and they are interchangeable with the old ones. Those under 3yo get MBs for show, no real purpose to them otherwise. You may find the green link in my signature helpful.
