Magic Bands on Display at Epcot Right Now?

No, not green in this case.....I want a royal purple one with little orange wings!!!!!

Does that mean that Premier Passports won't have a magic band? I like my shimmery gold card, but a purple band would work, too!

Not until DL has an RFID system in place at least...but that is rumored to be coming...the new cards will work with both systems.

I read (but can't remember where) Hypo-allergenic Rubber. Purple would be fabulous!

I have a feeling they will have many other designs out soon, they're never slow to miss out on revenue

I for one am excited about these magic bands.

If Disney doesnt make accessories for these things I wonder how long it takes for second parties to make watch faces that attach to the bands or other novelty pieces...?

If I could get one that was a watch, I would wear the orange one everywhere...

Disney already has that in the works including a potential partnership with Swarovski and Dooney & Bourke. I spoke of these things in the blog article posted above.

The first couple of pictures - the "Michael" one and the colors under it - were prototypes. I think the first one was even just an illustration for the FCC application.

The third "designer" picture is closer to the "real deal".

It's my understanding that all of the colors in the third picture will be available. In fact, many are already shown in the pictures below which represents the ones currently on display in Epcot:

The colors may be...I'm just pointing out that the design itself as shown in the picture was a prototype and not the end result - note the tapered style, etc.

That picture was one of the first to appear, a year or so ago, when the rumors started looking like reality and it was called xPASS...
