Magic Bands not shipping

When do magic bands ship?

I noticed a few days ago it said "2 days left to order your magic bands". We have had our colors selected for months. My assumption was they would ship out with about a month to go (where we are at now). But now I'm seeing "26 days left", which takes us up to the week before we arrive.

My sister's family got hers already, but they ordered one of the bands that cost extra.

Her magical express tags also arrived with her bands.

I'd like to have them before we leave, so we can go straight to the parks and not have to worry about picking them up somewhere.

Is Disney keeping the window open on purpose to see if we order the more expensive ones?

We usually get ours about 3 weeks before our trip. If they’re not there by like 2 weeks out I’d contact Disney. Meanwhile make sure you selected and confirmed the bands in MDE just to be sure (I’m sure you’ve already done this though)

Ours came in the same time frame. Upgraded bands ship as soon as you order. Standard ones wait until the 30-day package cancellation window closes (even if your reservation is room only).

Did you definitely complete the order and not just make selections? If you see a message like "2 days left to order", that implies that the order has not been placed. Maybe double check.

I placed my order this weekend for one complimentary and 3 upcharged bands and received a message this morning that they have already shipped.

I don't know how long they take, as they never ship ours to Canada. We always have to pick them up at the hotel. But, if they don't ship them, and if you have any bands from a previous trip linked in your MDE, those work too for being able to access the parks prior to checking into the hotel.

If you only select the free MagicBands for a resort reservation, they start to process them at 30 days out from arrival. For your stay, that should be in 2 days on 3/5.

Thanks. That's probably what will happen. It just threw me off when it said I had until the 26th.

Just to follow up on this for anyone who was interested, this is what happened. They shipped at the 30 day mark.

My bro and his gf are staying at ASMu and they submitted free color choices but it never shipped. They got it upon arrival.

There’s no way to complete an order when you’re only getting the free ones. You choose and wait.
