Magic bands not shipped?

Trip is only 20 days out....the "status" says not yet shipped and to check back for updates. It has said this for about 10 days now (since the due date to customize, which I did). What is up with this? What does this mean? Is there anything I can do?
 
Most reports indicate that they are now being mailed out around 21 days prior. Since it's the weekend, they may not actually be mailed until Monday.
 
if it is anything like ours, it will be updated after the post office in your town gets them...they are slow at updating the page when they ship.
 
I, too, am getting concerned as we're arriving in 14 days and haven't received ours yet. The message on my accounts says:

"Your MagicBand order is being personalized. Check back soon for shipping details."

Cutting it kind of close I think.:confused3
 

We had this same issue. You should call tech support and let them know that you're MagicBands are still listed as "needing personalized". They will push the order through!

Thank you everyone! We already personalize and verified the address- it just seems to be "stuck" on this status for awhile now. Never saw it before this trip!!
 
We are experiencing the same thing. DD and I leave out for our first girls only trip in 25 days...the bands have not been shipped. I too am seeing the message they are being personalized and to check back for status later. I sure hope we don't get stuck with front desk ugly gray bands!!
 
Call and talk to someone about it. For our November trip we had 4 different families going. 3 sets shipped on time but the 4th were stuck. I called and found out they were stuck because the name of one of the kids was different on the reservation. They shipped them out the next day.
 
We're arriving next Monday and haven't seen them yet. Assumed they would be waiting for us at the resort. Not?
 
In the times that I have made reservations on short notice, MDE said they would be waiting for me at the resort. It SPECIFICALLY said that.

I would call. I also would not stress. They will have extras available, and even though not customized, they now sell designer ones at the parks. Frozen, etc.

Of course, those do not have your name on them
 
I called today and I was told that she was having IT give them a nudge. She said in my case that she thought it was due to the fact that I used nicknames on the bands to customize. She said that is totally what you should be able to do, but they are finding it's causing some orders to hang.

I also asked if there's a way to opt out and she said not currently, but they keep mentioning it because the CMs keep hearing it from DVC and AP holders.
 
I called two times since this post. They told me that they are already manufactured but haven't been sent out yet and it was most likely due to the holidays? They told me that they can be in that status up until 10 days before but this has never happened. So weird! It looks like many of us are having the same issue.
 
Even though we were well within the ordering deadlines, ours never shipped for the December trip. They were waiting for us at the resort. About 2 days before we were set to arrive I believe the status changed to reflect this.
 
I just got an email that mine shipped. I am less than two weeks out. I will say this, mine were customized, address verified, etc. I was on the phone with member services two weeks ago for something else and I asked about general shipping times for MagicBands. The gal looked at my band order, confirmed everything was customized and said the order should ship soon.

Monday, I logged in to check the staus and I noticed the customization on one band was gone. I redid it and the order shipped the next day. Perhaps it was a coincidence, but even if you know you did the customization, it might be worth another look.

20 days out and I still have a customizing now message shown. I called two days ago and was told bands are no longer shipping as early as they used to. I'm guessing a lot of people are calling, because the cast member seemed frustrated and unmagical.m
 
I just wanted to give you guys an update that i received an email this morning to let me know they were shipped! Finally! It never took this long before. I hope those of you who are also waiting get the email soon!! Thanks for everyone's input!
 
I also received ours in last nights mail, we leave in six days. I don't know if that's late as this is the first time we've used the bands, they weren't out when we went two years ago.
 
I saw this thread and was a little worried my MagicBands would ship late too, but then I got an email that they shipped yesterday for a reservation 4 weeks away.
 
We are arriving in 23 days and have no bands yet. Maybe because I just booked December 18?
