Magic Bands & Lost PAP

We have a split stay in early March and received the email for the Magic Bands. Is there any point in getting the bands in the mail early if we cannot add a ticket or do fast passes for one of us?

My daughter's purse was stolen last year and her PAP was in it. I called Disney and they just said a new one would be issued when we arrived but they could not give me the number.

In addition, an addition guest may be coming that does not have a ticket yet and has not been added to the reservation until we know for sure.

If you want to pick colors and have names put on the magic bands, then customize them in advance.

If you don't - they will send you grey, or give you grey ones when you check in.

Might as well get them customized.

You can always make FP+ reservations for everyone else on the trip and copy the FP+ once you arrive to their tickets. Every so often you will have to adjust times a bit but for the most part they will be fine.

I thought everyone in the party had to have tickets linked to use FP+?
