Magic Bands don't seem to be shipping

There is no rhyme or reason on why some get hung up. I have a 3 way stay coming up next week. All booked with Disney directly. All have the same names on the bands. All going to the same address. 2 shipped without issue. I had to call for the other. All the CM said was it got "stuck". She "unstuck" it and I got them a few days later.

And yes, I realize I don't need all 3 sets. But I do need all 3 sets because I got different colors for different reasons :)
 

Magic Bands have been stuck in "Act quickly. Your order may ship at any moment." This has been well over a week that it has been saying this.

Anyone else have this experience? If so, what was the outcome?


You can always call the Internet Help team. I have always found them to be ultra helpful.
 
I did call. Wish I had done it earlier. I was told that the problem was that one of our party did not select their magic band color, although I don't think that was the case. We have 7 in our group, and every person picked one of the 7 colors. Because of this, one person had "grey", and I was sure that we had selected that. However, the Help Desk person said that was the reason. I was concerned they wouldn't arrive on time, and asked if they could ship them with a faster option. I was told NO, and it would be best to have the Magic Bands sent to the resort, and we would pick them up when we check in.

That's a bummer!! I tried calling and spent 30 minutes online with someone who didn't understand my question.

We got ours on Monday for our June 6 trip. On "My Disney" site it said hurry up act now on bands for about 30 days before they shipped.
 
I called, they were stuck, and now they are shipping. Whew! Thanks.
 
No way it's a nickname issue. We have nicknames/fake names on all of our bands except the first set we ordered. Like everything in MDE, I think it's a glitch/luck of the draw.

We also arrive June 4th and we got our bands on Saturday. OP, I'd call if I were you.

ETA: I should also note that the names on our bands were Ahsoka, Luke, Obi-Wan, and Amidala. None of those names are our actual names. ;) And we did use a hyphen, which I think some people have speculated could be an issue.

Oh so disappointed! I thought those were your *real* names and my new nephew Jedi - yes, his REAL name - could join you on your next trip :hippie:

If you'll be using Magical Express, be sure to keep your travel documents booklet from Disney handy. With your Magic Band, you can check in for the bus using your band. Without them, you'll need your paper tickets.
 
Mine have had the "act quickly" for 2 weeks now. After calling a couple of times and today's CM also telling me everything was okay I told her this is not correct and put me through to someone who can explain the holdup. I was put through to someone who told me they were stuck because I used my legal name on the reservation and my shortened name on the magic band. She said she released them and they should be sent shortly. If I don't receive in one week she said to call back.
 
See, they just start making up reasons. Gets crazy-making.

ITA. On this order, we used fake names on the bands, but have our full legal names in MDE, we used a hyphen on one, and one of them was gray. So we have the hat trick of supposed "things that hold MB orders up" and didn't have any issues getting ours. In fact, I think this order may have arrived more quickly than any of our previous MB orders.
 
We just recieved ours yesterday. My niece used her nickname on hers and we had no problem getting them. :confused3
 
There have def been some screw ups on our stuff this time. Nothing major, thank goodness. Our reservation paperwork and emails all show the correct guests - me, mom, DD. But MDE shows the trip as being booked for me, DH and DD ( not my mom). so all of our FP+ show my husband, as well as the magic band customization page. I called and they said it would be fine so long as the actual reservation shows my mom's name, which is does.
Then the info for the ME bus was wrong...had me on my moms flights and her and DD on my flight, plus she never got any paperwork for ME, which is not cool because the magic bands came to me (we live in different states). So at this point, I THINK I have this all squared away and correct....other than my mom has my husbands name on MDE and all of our ADRs.
I will plan to have some glitches at check in!! Luckily, we arrive before my mom and have no immediate plans for arrival night.
Oddly, magic bands came without a glitch - even though the MB order shows as being for DH and the imprint I requested for "his" MB says GmaDisney
 
We arrive June 4 and it still shows 'Act Now'. Should I worry?
I had this happen and got worried, so I called and the CM said there was a small discrepancy with the names on the reservation, and she fixed it in a jif and got the bands shipped that day.
