Magic Bands, DDP, and pin code?

When you use your magic band and have the ddp, do you have to use your pin code. Thanks!

Yes. They have hand held scanners that scan the band and you put in your pin code. At counter service you scan your band and you put the pin in a pad like at grocery stores.

And if you don't do online check in? Do you get the pin at the desk-regular check in? This is the first I've heard about a pin for DDP ... is there a thread that talks about it more?
