Magic Bands customizable 3 weeks prior?

Hello…we are heading to WDW in June with my DD's dance group. Because we are traveling as a group, we don't have our individual reservation numbers, and when I have pressed the travel company, their best guesstimate is that we won't get the numbers until early June. This has me VERY worried, to say the least! I'm hoping and praying that there will be some FP+ options left for us, but I am also worried that we won't be able to customize our magic bands. Does anyone know if we will still have time to do this 3 weeks before the trip? Thanks….

Next, let's talk about that Anna/Elsa FP+ I won't be getting …...

Groups can't customize magic bands, sorry to disappoint.

I think you should be good for most fp options. Not sure about A&E though. As for magic bands..I was able to customize ours until 30 days before our arrival date.

I believe Disney has stated this several times. Large group travels such as schools and tour groups I don't believe have the option of customizing magic bands.

Ugh. This trip just gets worse and worse. I'm so sorry I even agreed to it. I like planning out own trips and doing things the way we like. It seems I spent $4000 to leave everything to chance.

I'm glad I have our next tip in the planning stages, though I am kind of sick to my stomach about wasting all this money.

Are you wanting to customize by painting with nail polish or just hoping to get a certain color band. If you just want a certain color band, could you buy one in the park and have them link it right there.

I guess even this might not be possible if you don't have your own MDX account for the trip.

I wanted the different colored bands, not just plain gray.
