Magic Bands and Split Stays

Staying at CR for 6 nights and then moving it over YC for 2 nights. ALL my hoppers for this trip are on my CR stay as part of a package, and my YC is a room only reservation.
So...do I need 2 different sets of magic bands for both hotel stays? If I do when I transfer over to YC can they put the remaining 2 days of hoppers onto that bad? What happens to my FPs will they get "lost"? Am I missing anything? Am I making sense? In my brain i am going to be walking around with 2 sets of bands at the end of my stay. One to get into parks and the other to open my room @ YC and to charge to the room.

The Magic Bands are tied to your My Disney Experience account, not to a particular resort stay. If you have two bands for your upcoming stays, they can be used interchangeably, or you could decline one set of bands.

No reservation data, ticket media or dining plan credits are stored on the band. They "live" in your MDE account, and the band contains an identifier that turnstiles, point of sale terminals, door locks, etc, use to look up the necessary information in your MDE account.
