Magic Band ?

Is it possible to move magic bands from one MDE account to another? I have an account that our family is all listed on. My son is in WDW doing the DCP so he started his own account. Is he able to use any of his magic bands from previous trips through his own account?

MBs cannot be transferred from one guest to another guest.
I'm not so sure that the new, separate account will "see" that it is still the same guest.
(We know how "difficult" the MDX system can be, at some times.)
If it does not see him as the same guest, it might be possible to get some help from Disney I.T.

My daughter made her own account, linked it with my account, and she can still use old magic bands. I don't remember exactly what we did, but it must have been fairly intuitive. I think she made her account and then sent me a request to link. After that, I must have somehow said that she was the daughter listed on my account.

If you go to your MDE account and click on Friends and Family, if you click Update beside his name I think if you click "Invite to Connect" and then type in the e-mail address he used to create his account, his magic bands should stay with him and he would still have his own account.
