Magic band ?

planning to stay on site by renting dvc points.

Are magic bands included in our stay? How do we pick them or are random colors just sent?

Magic Bands are included with any onsite stay - it doesn't matter if it's renting DVC points or paying cash. I believe you pick your colors through the MDE app.

The MDE site is also where you can set your fast passes and dining reservations.

I would just go to disneyworld dot com and find the MyDisneyExperience section. Login for Wdw and Disneyland should be the same. Make sure your resort reservation is showing on your account. Once it is you should see the link to customize your magic bands.
