I have a question about the magic bands......do you still use them if you are not staying at one of the resorts....we are staying at a universal resort but going to Disney also

If you already have one from a previous visit and it's linked in your MDE then it will work. You can also buy them and link them. You don't have to have one, so it's a personal decision on whether to buy one if you don't already have one.

You can, if you want to. While they act as door keys at the resorts, they also get you into parks and at Fastpass entrances. If you don't have a MagicBand, you do not need to purchase one...unless you want to.

We bought mb's for our one day MK visit because DD12 was so envious of everyone else using them! It was our souvenir for the day and since we're going back in December for a stay at the Dolphin, we can use them again.
