Magic Band / Will Call Confusion...

I bought tickets for wdw about a week ago. I chose the will call option. I supposed at the time I'd be picking my magic band up at the park. I was then later, with the help of a cast member, chose my magic band color & name, I still thought I'd be picking it up...also it said online I had until "March 30" to personalize my band & it was passed then, so I thought it might be too late. Then I got an email that my magic band was being delivered.

It delivered in two days & on my bank account it shows my tickets as purchased. However, I also have a will-call confirmation # & sheet printed, which I would also show a picture of, but I don't think it's smart to post anything with my financial info in it. So, if my tickets are paid for & I have my magic band, what's the point of will call? In the past, will call allowed a person to not be charged until pick up from what I remember...I could be wrong, but that was my original plan. I'm a little concerned I'll be charged twice.

If you're staying at a DW resort and are from out of state (Florida) the resort can activate your tickets on the band when you check in. (So you don't have to do them at the park.)

I'm guessing that if you're going straight to the park all you'll have to do is hand your band over at the will call desk and they'll activate it for you. (Or maybe it will self-activate automatically when you scan the band at the gate?)

You have to have the tickets linked to your MDE account for them to be associated with your MB. The MB would have been sent to you or available for you regardless of whether or not you had tickets. If you were able to link the tickets to your MDE account (via the will call confirmation number), you do not need to pick up an actual physical ticket. However, some people recommend you pick it up just to have as a backup in case there is a problem.
