My daughter went to Disney with her friend and bought a 3 day ticket (the trip was a day trip) and the friends mom linked my daughters ticket to her account because her family had annual passes. We are planning on going in a few weeks to use the two days left, how do I get the magic band and ticket to link to my account. When I try it states that it is already linked to another account.

I am hoping we can still use the tickets and be able to book fast passes.

IF it matters all parties live in FL and had FL annual passes and my daughter bought a 3 day FL pass.

What type of ticket was it? Most types of tickets expire 14 days after first use.

If it is a ticket that is still valid, did the friend's mom assign the ticket to your daughter's name in her MDE account?

The ticket is still valid- it is a FL discovery ticket expires at the beginning of June. Im not sure but I am guessing because my daughter said the mom used the app to add fast past to her magic band

Have your friend go into their account, under family and friends they want to update your daughter that added to be managed by them..

If she is old enough (I think it's 13+) an option will be in the upper right hand corner that says "invite to connect", that will ask for an email address and you can give them your MDE email address or let your daughter make her own account and use hers it's up to you. You'll get an invite email, you can accept it into the account (or your daughter will create her own account) and then the accounts will be linked together but that ticket and magicband should move to the acocunt. They will still see her ticket in their account because they purchased it but your daughter will see it also.

If your daughter made her own account, then you can do the same thing from your MDE account to your daughter and that will link your accounts together so you can plan together, see each others photos, link her to food, fastpasses, reservations, etc etc etc..

Now if shes not 13+, then your friend needs to first raise her age in the update section, save it and then go back and update it to see the option to invite to connect. In this case, link it to your account and don't make a new one for your daughter, once linked you can update and fix her age. fixing the age is important, especially if under 10 when eligible for child pricing.

Because the ticket is linked in the friend's account and managed by her, you would have to invite, through your MDE account, your friend and her MDE to link to yours. You would do this from within the Family/Friends area of your MDE.

Once she agrees to link up and you do the process to add in your daughter, you'll be able to book FPs for her. She'll use that MB to enter the parks and FP lines.
