My mother and father-in-law are coming with us on our trip. They're not sure if they will want to go to as many parks and wanted to wait to buy tickets when we get there. Can you make fp+ at 60 days if you have a resort reservation but not a ticket yet?

Also, aren't there other bands like Pirates, etc? Do you just order one of the generic bands and pick a themed one when you get there? Thanks!

They will need tickets linked to make FP+ reservations for them as you can only make as many days worth of FP reservations as the guest has tickets for.

All bands are a generic color but in park there are accessories you can purchase to customize them.

Ask them what there minimum number of days they think they might want and purchase that from Disney. Then you can at least get them a few fast passes when you book yours. After they are there if they decided they want more days they can upgrade their tickets.

More specifically, all (regular) bands are a SOLID color.

Each WDW resort guests may choose from the selection of solid colors
when ordering their bands.

Guests at WDW can also choose from that selection of solid colors if they
purchase a band on-site.

(There have been some special promotions that offered participants in
those promotions special "printed" bands. No way to know if and when more
promotions will happen.)

And, yes, at the park there are accessories you can purchase to customize them.
