Magic band question

Will be cruising on the Wish, I have a Disney+ magic band and band is linked to MDE and I have used in the parks. Is the band automatically active on my Disney Crusie account or do I have to do something to link it ? If I need to link it, how do I do that, I looked at cruse app and couldn’t find a way to link it .

When you arrive at the port, they will activate your magic band before going through the security check. If your magic band can't be activated before security, they will direct you to a different podium after the security check to activate your magic bands.

Go on to the Disney cruise website and sign in. Under the Already Booked tab, scroll down and choose Under My Accounts- Magic Band+. You should see the names of those on your trip. You should be able to choose a person and see if there is a magic band + linked to their account. If not, it gives you the option to enter the number off the back. Good luck!

As long as your MagicBand+ is linked to your MDE account and marked as Active, you don't need to do anything pre-cruise in order for it to work. Your DCL & MDE accounts should be connected and you should see any linked MB+ on the "DisneyBand+ & More" page on the DCL website (under "Already Booked" drop down menu). If you don't see them, call DCL.

Just off the Disney Wish and if you have a DisneyBand+/MagicBand+, they can scan that during check in at the port in place of the QR code. The way DCL is setup, you can only use one DB+/MB+ during the cruise.

You will still be issued regular room keys which you MUST take with you when you leave the ship in ports of call.
