Magic Band Question

I have some Disney gift cards and was wondering if I can use them on my magic bands or does it have to be a credit card?

People have not been able to set up a room charge with GCs, but you can set it up with a CC then later give them a GC to cover charges. It just takes more visits to the front desk.

The MBs are simply a method of charging to the room. They didn't create a way to do it without having that room charge account. So no using the MB to pay if you're offsite.
