Magic band question

I just ran across the announcement on the Member website which was posted in June 2014 and it said it was limited supply and we would get them while the supplies last. It sounds like they run out.

At our SSR stay in June, I asked at the concierge desk for them and they pulled out a huge handful from a drawer. They only gave me the 4 I needed for my family, but it appears that they have a lot!

I just spoke with member services and asked about the sliders as we got our bands Wednesday with no sliders. The rep told me the did not know why certain members were not getting sliders. They had a meeting about it but still did not know. Apparently all sliders are kept where the bands are packaged and shipped and the reps are unsure if someone just forgot to package them or they ran out of sliders. She did not think they were discontinuing them. I asked if we could just get them at check in and she replied no the front desk did not have them either. I sent and email to member satisfaction hoping to get a more definitive answer. She seemed hopeful that they might know. We'll see what they come back with.
