We are staying offsite but bought magic bands and tickets through my disney experience. The tickets and magic bands are linked in my disney experience. Is there anything else to do so that we can use the magic bands as park tickets instead of the actual tickets we received?

Just make sure your tickets and bands are linked and you'll be able to use your MB in place of your RFID ticket.
