Magic Band Question

Hi Everyone

A family memeber bought a magic band off ebay for my daughter because it had a character that she wanted. What they didn't realize was that it looks like it was used by someone else previously. I feel really bad cause they spent a lot of money.

Is there anyway we can use this band for our upcoming trip. This is the first time going and I have never used magic bands

The Magic Band (if used) is attached to someone else's MDE account. It was probably inactivated, if the seller is smart. However, it can't be attached to another MDE account without the help of Disney's IT dept. Since you didn't purchase the band from Disney, they may be reluctant to remove it from the original account and attach it to another. You could give them a call to find out.
