Magic Band...payment method question

First..I apologize if this isn't in the right location. I will be travelling with my sister and niece next month. Last year we were able to link my credit card to my magic band and hers to her magic band. I know we didn't do online checkin. If we do online check-in this time, is this doable or will we need to see the online checkin area when we arrive at the resort.

You can do online check in and then go to the front desk to have the charges separated when you get there.
