Magic band overload

Ok...I am SO confused. I am heading to disney in 3 days. My sister's family and ours are sharing a 2 bedroom villa at Wilderness Lodge for 1 night, then going on a disney cruise for 4 nights then coming back for one night in 2 separate rooms at Wilderness Lodge. We received a set of MB for everyone a while back, then a week later, got another set of bands. I talked with Disney, they said we had to use each set for the different leg of our trip. I got to thinking and we have our park tickets linked to only the first set of bands. PLUS I just got an email that ourMagic Bands will be waiting for us at the hotel!!!! How many sets will we have? Will we have to carry them all around to get into parks, rooms, pay for dinner?

So overwhelmed!!!

Your reservations/tickets are linked to your MDE account, not the band itself. So one set of bands should work for the both legs of your trip, as long as all of your reservations are linked.

Disney is sending out a new set of bands for each reservation for now. But your first set that you customized should work everywhere. The only thing in the band is the chip that "talks" to the MDE website.

You get a set of MBs for each reservation. You do not have to use all of them if you don't want to. Your first set is supposed to work for all your reservations (emphasis on supposed , but it shouldn't be a problem if they're all linked ).

Tickets linked to MBs are valid for admission throughout their length / expiration regardless of your resort check-out date, so you can keep using the MB for admission even after check-out.

Why didn't Disney just tell me that when I called. They said I needed to deactivate the first set and use second set, but then I started wondering how the tickets would be found!!!!! Uuuugh......I am so nervous for this trip.
