Magic Band Arrived Damaged

Grr, DH tried calling and every department wants to send you to a different department all with an hour wait for each of them.
 
In all our trips, this is the first time we’ve run into errors with our order. The number on the packing slip in my package appears to be for shop Disney. 1-800-328-0327 or email shop@disneyparks.com . They do say to note your order number and billing address on all correspondence. Hope that helps.

Well that does help, the box was mangled, looks like someone drove an airplane and a semi truck over it. So there was no packing slip.

Here is the box as it arrived:

And we haven't had issues before either, so didn't know where to reach out to.
 

Are you staying at a Disney-owned resort?

If you can't resolve this before your trip, I would take the band and the box with me and show it to the front desk upon arrival. Hopefully they would be able to replace it, or give you a credit to your account so that you could buy a new one. If you got a discount when purchasing (which I think you do when buying for a stay at a Disney resort but I haven't gone in awhile), make sure they give you a credit for what it will cost you to buy a new one in the gift shop, which will be more than the discounted rate.

If you buy one there, it won't be personalized on the inside, but you should be able to tell it apart from the others in your group because it would be the only one not personalized.

If they were ordered in MDE for having a resort reservation (or an AP), they don't include a packing slip.
 
Precovid the front desk at BC was able to replace a lost magicband in minutes. If the center medalion is undamaged you should be able to insert into another strap right?

Did they have all the colors or just grey?

You should have an email with the order confirmation, that would have an order number. I have found their customer support to be decent, although their response might be slow these days.

That is correct. The center pucks are interchangeable. Just use a tiny screw driver to take off the puck on an existing band from the back side of it.
(that's really the only part of the magicband that gets registered on MDE. it's not the band itself, it's the center piece of the magicband)
