Magic band and hotel check out question

My daughter and I will be staying on property for one night before her tournament this summer. We will then check out and stay off-site. We will have magic bands for our one night stay that will have a two day park ticket associated with it. We'll go to a park the day of check out from BWV and then to Magic Kingdom after the tournament that Friday. Can we still use our magic bands on Friday? Will our park tickets still be associated with it or will we need to use our paper tickets to get into the park and for our fastpasses? Thanks, we never stay off-site but are staying with her team so this is new to me.

If your tickets are linked to your magic bands, you are fine. You just won’t have access to your room anymore, but your tickets will still be there.

Another caveat to this, you are supposed to be able to charge on your Magic Band on the day of your check out. We were successful on that morning in the park, but later in the day it failed. The CM indicated this sometimes happens, even though it is not supposed to.
