Magazine subscriptions?

Only online for a good 10-15 years. It was getting annoying storing all those magazines and newspapers and took up too much valuable space.

Current subscriptions to:

NYTimes
New York Mag
New Yorker
WSJ
IBD
KPF
Black Enterprise
NY Cooperator (it ends soon and will not be purchased again; that work is finished)
Crain's NY (also will not be renewed)
Threads
Cooks' Illustrated
Saveur
Fine Cooking
Essence

I still buy Harper's Bazaar's and Vogue's August editions @ the newstand to look at the pretty pictures.

I use to receive Family Fun as a gift from my mom, but I believe that lapsed about a year ago. If Good Housekeeping, Women's Day, Backpacker, or Family Fun appeared in my mailbox I wouldn't complain.

Thanks to Boy Scouts we receive 2 or 3 print subscriptions to Boys Life.

Southern Living and Entertainment Weekly. Both are paper and both are free subscriptions. Am I the only one who tries to use 2 fingers to enlarge print magazines if it's too small to read?

And I never read a magazine in the doctor's office. I'm NOT a germaphobe but I always wonder what kind of virus I'll pick up if I read one!

The only one I get now is Indianapolis Monthly. I use to get lots and lots, but I just never read them and I found I don’t read this one either.

I prefer print or tablet apps that reproduce the print layout in digital format, rather than a subscription that gives unlimited access to content on the publication's website.

I prefer the tablet apps but tend to read a good bit of economist online.

I do get the digital WSJ in terms of newspapers.

I use Texture on my Tablet. So I get just about every magazine you can think of about 10 bucks a month. And most I can get over a year of back issues too.
Yep, me too. I pay $15 though. I think it’s because I wanted the weeklies? I can’t remember but I’ve had it for a few years.

I mostly read things like Cooking Light, Taste of Home, DIY, This Old House, Country Living etc. Read People on occasion but it’s gotten to where I don’t know who anyone is anymore. It used to have a feature where you could save recipes right to you My Recipes account but it doesn’t do that anymore. You can save in app but it saves the entire story not just the recipe.

Oh goodness, magazines are a weakness of mine. I currently subscribe to a bunch including Food Network, All Recipes, Taste of Home, Beekman 1802 Almanac, Traverse, Country Woman, Living, Birds and Blooms, Redbook, Better Home and Gardens, Good Housekeeping, Family Circle, Woman’s Day and probably a few I forgot. I keep telling myself to let some of them go.

I just really prefer print over online. It’s easier & faster to flip through, and the pictures are BIGGER. I just enjoy it much more (I can access the articles online & sooner, but I’d rather wait for the print copy to arrive).
You can usually pop the photo out online and zoom in. Not trying to change your mind just something I discovered. I used to only buy photography books in paper form because of the photos and then figured out how to do that.

I actually don'rt subscribe to any magazines but... someone keeps renewing subscriptions for me. Everyone demies it but I keep getting them

Sports Illustrated
Food Network

So who ever it is knows me well.

We don't subscribe to newspapers. We get them free at work.

I also stopped getting our paper due to its partisan editorial board. I don't miss it.

I don't subscribe to any, I can get magazines free on my tablet through my library.

But, I’m still working on a 7” screen rather than a full page. Plus, it’s just another step that’s not necessary if I have the print version. And when I’m done with them, I pass them on to my nephews.

Wasn’t trying to change your mind, lol. For me, especially with photography it’s helpful to be able to zoom in. Plus, I can’t see worth a damn anymore.

Well, I will say the font is awful damn small on the print version! I’m going to try ebooks eventually.

Over the years mother-in-law has given and renewed for a few years several magazines though I don't have them anymore as a subscription:
Country Living
HGTV
Better Homes and Garden
Midwest Living

Current subscription:
Local magazine called 435 (named after one of the main highways in the area). It covers the metro. Each month has a different theme. It also has a large amount of real estate in it but I usually don't look at that part. We've found local eateries we wouldn't have thought of going to and also things to do. There was a summer edition that had park trails and day and weekend trips accessible with a car. There's also a few food recipes in it. It also has upcoming concerts and events.

Not really subscribed to it but it comes with my membership:
AAA magazine. I like that one a lot.

Not really subscribed to it but my County has a magazine (though it's small) that they send out to their residents. I also get a newsletter from the City.

The only subscription is get is The Journal of Accountancy and only because its free with my AICPA membership.

I can't remember the last time I looked at a magazine but used to get a Scuba Diving one.

Indianapolis Monthly
Cooking Light
Runner's World - I don't really run anymore, but my DD does so she reads it.

I have been getting this since I moved to Indy in 94. Deborah Paul just wrote her last column, so now I don't know if I will. I loved her columns!
