Made some Butterbeer the other day.

So my wife and I decided to watch the LOTR movies again starting with the hobbit. She said she wanted to try a butterbeer recipe to drink while we watched. I told her that she was mixing up franchises and that's not allowed. But then I relented and found a recipe for leaded butterbeer online.

1 shot butterscotch schnapps
1 shot vanilla vodka
6 oz. crème soda
top with whipped creme

Tasty, and pretty close to what it's in the parks. If not, after a couple you won't care or need a broom to fly.

My DH has a regular recipe he came up with that is really close to the parks. However, I will have to show him this adult version, It sounds really good.

BTW there is a really good Lembas bread recipe on line. My teens made it and it was delicious. You can have something from both franchises.
