I have booked Victoria and Alberts for our stay in November, will be on the phone later to book Emerills.

Emerills now booked, so that has taken care of our PS's for the trip.

Wow, 2 fantastic places to eat :)

I know Kev, terrible! and to go with that will be dinner at Palo! Unfortunately this will be our last trip to Florida for 18 months or so.

In which case you have to do it in style - I really really want to eat at V&A's again oh and I want to try Emerils too.

Well, you know I'm not going to argue with V&As or Emeril's, but you need to try BlueZoo at the Dolphin. I'm sure I've posted something about it since I came back - I'll try to find the thread to save me typing it all over again! You can book online at www.thebluezoo.com

Oops - looks like I posted it on the TourGuideMike forums, not the DIS :o . Hey ho! Anyway, here's what I said:

We ate there Thursday, 8 July. It's a large space and very hip and happening - especially the bar area as you enter. The decor is nice; the food is fabulous. Dh had the yellowfin tuna tartare to start, I had the teppan seared jumbo scallops on braised beef shortrib with silky cauliflower puree (yummy), elder dd had the crab gnoccho with black truffle aioli, younger dd and elder dd's boyfriend had the jumbo shrimp. For entrees, we tried swordfish (dh), barbecue pan roasted titan prawns on sweet cornbread (me), slow roasted double pork chop (elder dd and her boyfriend) and the shellfish selection platter (younger dd). We all loved everything we ate. Elder dd and her bf both really wanted the pork, but were a bit reluctant as they felt they should really be having seafood (it's mainly a seafood place). We'd eaten seafood the day before and I managed to convince them that they should just have what they wanted. They were so pleased they did - the pork was 'melt in the mouth'. We were all too full for dessert.

We had a reservation for 8pm and we were seated in the far corner next to a window and the private dining room. As it's such a large restaurant, we felt a bit 'out of things' and, as it was still light when we arrived, the ambiance wasn't quite right (it's a dimly lit restaurant). We will definitely go again, but I will ask to be seated in the thick of things.

It's at the Dolphin, but not very well signed - we had to ask. Once you are in the lobby, make your way to the restaurant area (which is well signed - Shula's, etc) and then it's at the bottom of the escalator.

You know you'd both be welcome! You'll be getting withdrawal symptons from your own trip by December, anyway. C'mon, you know you want to! ;)

It is so tempting, who needs a deposit for a house anyway?? Will have to wait and see and do it last minute if we do, maybe as Mandy's birthday present.

Wait until Sam sees it she will be tempted too.

He he! Blow the SW Meet, Essex Meet, Northern Meet, Devon Meet. Let's have an annual Disney Wonder Meet from now on!

Done it, we'll be there.

Changed our bookings, now going 28th Nov - 13th Dec, see you on the cruise!

just look at that! I leave you all alone for 5 minutes and what happens?!

Tammy, couldnt you have kept them in order?;)

Oh well folks look like we'll be seeing you all in December then!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :sunny:

Woo-hoo I won't be cruising with you Mark as I'm already on the Magic from 27th Nov for a week and to be honest I wouldn't want to cruise with you lot without my dear hubby ;)

BUT I'm so glad that I will get to see you all when you get off the ship :Pinkbounc
