made my first ps today

hi all

today i did something for the first time i made my ps's

i was so nervous i thought i would stumble my way through them but the CM was a lovely lady and told me i had no reason the worry
i have only made them for the first week(didn't want to confuse the CM)i will be making a few more in the next couple of days

so here is what i have so far....

crystal palace @ 8.05 (our first day)

sci-fi @ 12.10

ice-cream social @ 3.10 (dh birthday)

kona cafe @ 2.25 (before we head to mnsshp)

so how do these sound are they good places to dine at i also need to make dinner ressies for dh birthday any suggestions

Congratulations!
My mother and kids ate at Sci Fi last week and they enjoyed it. We also had lunch at Kona Cafe and were very happy with it too.

You MUST try the desserts at Kona Cafe. We literally had a dessert orgy! Tried four of them, and Chef Michael sent us over a fifth! We ate them all. (4 of us), AFTER our meals. Awesome.
Sci-Fi is fun if you've never done it before. A bit pricey for what you get, and I remember the food being okay, nothing outstanding.

Crystal Palace I've had lunch at. The food was simple but plentiful (obviously being a buffet), and the characters were quite plentiful.

My suggestion for your dh's birthday is to DEFINITELY go to Le Cellier!!!!! The food is just the best, the CMs there are my most favorite in all of the World and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are in a special place far away from the hustle and bustle.

We had lunch there for our (dh and my birthday is same day) birthday (totally unplanned as far as PS - we decided we couldn't stand to miss Le Cellier) and it was one of the most magical moments of our trip! Ask for Marios or Paul!

thanks for the tip on le cellier i have been thinking of going here but i am very much a plain eater,can you get a plain steak here and also can you get fries it must be great to have both your birthdays on the same day me and my dh birthdays are just a day apart

We have done CP several times for breakfast and were pleased each time.

Last August we did the ice cream social. We were basically the only ones there. The character interaction was great. Kids were kind of preoccupied w/ the characters and didn't eat all their ice cream.

We were the last seating time before they closed to get ready for dinner so it was nice.

i am sooooooo excited just talked to my mum and we have a free day on the sunday (7th nov) the men are off to see the tampa bay buccs and we are going to try and get ps for CRT!

failing that will settle for princess brekkie in epcot??

i am soo jealous i wanted to eat at CRT but i am the only lady in the house and my dh and boys just wouldn't have it that it would be cool to eat with the princesses

Yes, you can get a plain steak and fries at Le Cellier. My dh is a very plain eater too - steak without onions, mushrooms, bleu cheese, etc. - and he has never once complained about any food he had at LC! He is also a big chocolate fan, and he loves the club cake there (which just happened to be the dessert we got for free on our birthday trip!).

How neat that your and your dh's birthdays are a day apart! I've only met one other couple that shared an exact birthday, and I don't know that I've met any that were just a day apart!

i am looking forward to celebrating our birthdays in wdw and we can get to pick two (nicer)places to eat, altough dh is not too keen on letting the resturant know he is celebrating his birthday
