Made my ADR's today, what do you think

Sun 10/16 arrival day doing MNSSHP in the evening but planning to try to get to MK by 2 or 3.
Mon 10/17 Tusker House 8:15 - AK Morning afternoon rest Epcot F&W for dinner
Tues 10/18 HS morning 11:30 50's afternoon swim/rest 7:45 CA Grill
Wed 10/19 Chef Mickeys 10:30 pool/boats rest day HDDR 7:15
Thur 10/20 Crystal Palace 8:05 MK morning 50's 5:30 maybe fantasmic
Fri 10/21 Kona either 7:30 then early to Epcot or 9:00 and later to Epcot
Dinner either 7:00 Ohana and fireworks from Poly or 7:40 LeCellier
Sat 10/22 Tusker House 8:15 AK morning 5:15 Ohana MK for parade and fireworks

As you can see I have a couple of things booked twice or double booked. I need to decide and cancel some. We are a party of 9 (4 adults and 9,8,7,2,1) The family we are going with it will be their boys (9,7,2) first real trip. I think they are really going to like AK and Epcot which are two things that we usually just do a half day each so I tried to get a little more time in there. DD and I have seen Fantasmic and DH doesn't care. So its just sort of if we can get in great if not that's okay too, we'll do something else in HS.

I really think it would be good to do the Ohana on Saturday evening and then we could head over to MK to end the trip. Then we could also do LeCelleir on on Friday and I would probably do the later Kona and then head over to Epcot around lunch time to spend the afternoon and evening.

Any feedback is welcome. I'm pretty good at planning for our family but questioning myself a little on planning for two families together. I will say I've talked to the other mom about the early morning breakfasts and stuff and she thinks it will all work as the babies will have us both up early anyway and the husbands will be more than willing to stay behind and bring anyone later who wants to sleep in.

I wouldn't head over to MK as soon as you arrive. That extra hour or two wastes a day of your tickets. MNSSHP tickets can get you into the MK at 4pm even though the party starts at 7pm.

Your rest day can now be a 1/2 park day or a full one if your up to it.

DD has a BBB appt at 4:00 and the boys have pirate league appt's at 3:20. The husbands are coming for that and then taking the little ones back to the resort around 7pm leaving us with the big kids to enjoy the party. (DH does not enjoy the party)

I was hoping if we got on over to MK we can maybe get a ride or two in with the babies prior to the big kids appointments.

Unfortunately the one thing DH insists on each trip is one day with no parks at all. And usually by that day we are in need of slow and easy day.

That early tusker house after a party night is a TERRIBLE idea. You will need to leave the hotel by 7am! No way after a late night!

Yikes! I missed that. I wouldn't even think of doing an early morning breakfast after going to MNSSHP. It was hard enough one year when I booked a late breakfast the next morning with my niece.

Yea, that's one of the ones I'm toying with. I know we won't stay at the party until midnight. Last year DD was ready to go after the second parade. Actually she was ready to go before the second parade but I talked her into sitting and watching it with me since we had rode rides and gotten candy and stuff during the first parade.

We're at BLT so I'm figuring we will get back to the room by around 11:00 or so. I'd prefer not to have the breakfast that next morning and just aim to be at AK by 9ish but they really want to do this breakfast.

The other option is to do the breakfast on our last morning and do AK for a second morning that day. I just hate to have us locked in at AK that last day. What if they like AK but like HS better and would rather go to HS that day or MK that day all day or something.

The other option is to skip this breakfast altogether. We are doing CM on Wednesday. This breakast is really good though and DD likes seeing Daisy.

I suppose I could play it by ear and see what happens.

Can you book a later ADR for Tusker House? I like the later breakfast as guests start leaving and the characters stay longer at the table.

I agree. We normally like the 10:30 slot there. That way if you do make it to RD great. Get some rides in and grab some fastpasses. If you don't then just arrive for breakfast and grab a safari fp right before hand.

I thought about doing the later ADR there but the one time we did that a couple years ago they were running almost an hour behind and by the time we got sat they were packing up breakfast and putting out lunch and the characters were running out the door. Daisy came and went so fast I had to get a CM to bring her back by so we could get a picture.

I'm really thinking we may end up just scrapping the breakfast. I don't know. I talked to the other mom this weekend about it and the fact that we would have to be at the bus stop at like 7am to make it to this breakfast and that we likely would not get back from the party until around 11 the night before. She still wants to do the breakfast though.

We've done that time many times before and never had a problem with it. I'd give it a second try. If anything we thought we got more character time than when we had early breakfasts.
