Just made my first ever offer with Fidelity it’s been over 22hrs with no response (I did get an automated email)

Now I’m thinking I did something wrong. I only wrote my offer per point, should I have written something else in that filed box like ‘seller to May MF’s etc’?

How do they normally respond? Email or phone.

They likely are closed for the weekend now.
On Monday morning give them a call. Fidelity is the oddball where you really need to call as they are not the most responsive at times via email to offers.

Also www.FidelityResales.com is approved but make sure to post the link to the site and not just the name in the future.

One other thing they may have taken your offer and maybe others to the seller and are waiting to hear back? They just didn't communicate that to you which is the one dig on them.

I bought through them though and it was fine they are reputable and fairly easy to work with, might just take an extra 1-2 weeks to finalize everything when it's all done.

Most brokers work 7 days a week. They don't and it is a holiday weekend. They tend to be slow in addition to being closed and I agree, I have been frustrated in the past trying to get an offer in, but have won a few. As the OP suggested, call first thing Monday morning. Hopefully you will hear good news!

Good luck. I had issues with a different company- put in an an offer, called them and emailed them and still never received a response. Very strange.

Thanks all, should I have written something else other than the $$ amount?

I’ll follow up on Next business day, is Monday a public holiday? (Sorry I’m from Australia)

Today is the 4 of July in the US. Many of us had yesterday off work due to the holiday.

I made a full-price offer yesterday afternoon with the DVCstore. I know they are closed for July 4, but am wondering what a normal time frame for a response would be. I will be looking at other contracts and also considering a direct purchase, but want to get a response on the offer before I do anything else. I had put in a lower offer last week on that contract last week, but was told the seller had multiple offers and was holding firm for asking price. I have no idea whether he has another full-price offer pending.

Any update on how you made out? (living vicariously through others as I save money to put in my first resale offer...)

They got back to me that there was a full price offer on it. However I saw it posted on the ROFR That it sold for less than full price.
I’ll just add Disney DVC resale agents to the list of people not to trust 😂

That's too bad. Hopefully a better contract will come your way soon!
