Made First DVC Res at VWL 9/14 - 9/21. Anyone have any VWL Tips?? Suggestions???

I just made my first reservation as a DVC member. My family and I are going to VWL from 9/14 to 9/21. There are 4 adults and my three kids (twin boys that are 21 monts and a 4 month old).

Anyone have any suggestions for VWL? Anything that is a must see for 2 yr olds?


All I ever hear from people at work is why would you want to go when your kids are so young, and I tell them its more for me than it is for the kids!!!

NONSENSE!!!!! My daughter was little over 2 years old on her first visit and she had a blast. She is almost four now and she asks to this day when we are going back to WDW.
Every child is different but I think if you let the kids enjoy the park at their own pace, they'll have a great time.
I'd throw in a nap each day to re-charge their batteries. With kids, you just to take it easy, take breaks and just take it easy like enjoying the VWL pool in the afternoon instead of going back to the park.
I hope your kids enjoy their first trip to WDW. Just remember, you'll be coming back for years to come so why rush it.

Just walking around the resort there is a lot to see outside the shop there is a Mickey Totum pole. Most children love the guiser. Take a walk or boat ride over to ft. Wilderness, they have a petting zoo. In the main loby of the Lodge the pool starts. Just let them explore and go with the flow they will have a great time.

I agree with Tamu. Go at the kids pace. Take midday breaks. Dont try to pack it all into one trip.

WLV is wonderful! We love it there. It is home to us.

Check out EWP at 9:15-30. It comes by everynight. A real treat.

WCC is fun. Check it out first and see if you think kids will react well to it.

Let other adults go their own way if they need too. It will cause less stress.

Main thing, just relax. You are members now, you will be going back. Oh yeah,
