Made another offer....Disney Magic?

Well, I made an offer for 160 AKV June yesterday with Disney Magic Resales.. have not heard anything back yet....

Wondering of experiences with Disney Magic?

If it's been 24 hours, I'd call them. Maybe your email went to spam or something.

On another note, AK's buying must have been 160 points because there's so many at that level!

Fidelity has a couple around 160pts @ 78. Or OKW 210 pts @ 61. Offer less and ask seller to pay fidelity fees. That is what I did and it passed ROFR.

I put an offer in with that company for a a different AK contract on Sunday. I received the automated response email with the offer information, and didn't hear anything by Wednesday, so I followed up with an email. Sill no response. I'm not in a hurry, but if they can't respond at all, I'm not going to chase it down with phone calls. I'd rather work with a different company that wants my business and responds to offers. Not impressed at all!

Yep. We bought in '09 when it was AKV or BL. And the minimum was indeed 160. That's how much BL we have.

I started out with fidelity have been looking but they didn't have my use year or something, I will look again!!

If you just email them it sits in a que to be assigned according to Bonnie. She says reach out to her directly on any deals. She worked very hard on mine, trying to reach the seller for a week whom we found out was on vacation. She did get my OKW from 63 to 54.35. Yay!

When buying resale I never used an online option - always called to get immediate attention. Anything else is waiting on it to be assigned or noticed by someone.

I agree, I called her and she said to make the offer online, then I called to FU and finally she said seller wanted more, I offered more and still waiting to hear back from Friday afternoon, so should hear tomorrow I would think....

Its not Bonnie at Fidelity, that was who I was working with on my first one... this is disney magic.....had no issues with Bonnie

So frustrated... they wanted more money.. I increased my offer, still no word.. I am sick of waiting... this shouldn't be this complicated. The one I am making offers on is still listed.. the one with banked points was gone before I made offer, the day before actually, wanted that one, but missed it.

ugh. That does sound like a frustrating process. I'm keeping an eye on threads like yours so I know what to expect when we finally decide to go forward.

This is true. Fidelity is not the best with calls back. However I got an amazing deal in AK with them. I think it was $55 a point, fully loaded contract with banked points. Seller paid fees and closing. Don't discount them. This was a couple of years ago.

I made an offer with DVC Magic about a month ago and worked with Rachel. The seller was very slow to respond and wouldn't budge off their too high price (it's still listed on their site at the same price) so that particular contract didn't work out for me, but that's not Rachel/DVC Magic's fault. I was happy with Rachel and would work with her again.

To add, I also worked with Bonnie at Fidelity while making an offer on another contract. That contract didn't work out only because I was not comfortable dealing with an international seller, but had I chosen to proceed I would have had a sweet loaded contract at an amazing price. Bonnie was great working with me on my offer and listening to my concerns about the international seller thing. I would also work with Bonnie again.
