When we purchased ours...

* DH and I made an offer on two contracts 1/7 and put down deposit.
* We received the contracts to sign via e-mail. Had to have a witness. We mailed those back in within 2 days.
* Once the broker got both the our and sellers' sigs, they were sent to DIS to pass ROFR.
* It took about 2 1/2 weeks to find out that we passed. Once we passed, our broker waited for estoppels (whatever those are!) to come in.
* Once the estoppels were received, the closing docs were prepared and we received the docs and the $$$ amount we needed to close via e-mail. They e-mailed the paperwork to us on February 20, we signed and sent in the check and the docs within 48 hours.
* Our deeds were recorded on-line 3/6 & 3/7 and we were in Dis's system right around that time or shortly thereafter.

BTW...best wishes to you! For us, it was a stressful time! That 2 weeks waiting for DIS seemed like 2 years!!!

$72 per point..first time owners...the thing is im already renting points for next year from someone so ill probably just bank this years points for 2008

$72 for HHI..yes i do....looking at the history of what has passed and what has not passed....it looks like basically anything over $70 has passed and most listed below $70 has been RORF

We passed ROFR with a contract for OKW at $74/pt, so I wouldn't think that $72 would be beyond the realm of possibility.

It would also depend on the amount of points, however.

Having recently sold some HH.... it sells for less then the on site properties. (IMHO there is a reason it sells lower) So I think OP will pass. I think I took 75 for 50 point contract and I was asking a premium since it was a 50 pointer!
