made an offer!!!nervous

THis waiting game is horrible

If you're getting nervous just waiting to hear back about your offer, then maybe this isn't for you. :) I say that jokingly, but waiting to hear back on your offer is possibly the least stressful part of the resale buying experience. My advice would be to relax, take a deep breath and just know that with one contract or another you should have this completed 10 weeks from now.

Good luck! :goodvibes

I actually have enjoyed the process it gives me something to look forward to every step of the way. I like a little bit of excitement and nervousness in my life, it keeps every day interesting!

You're going to have lots more waiting, so take a deep breath and try to relax. Picture yourself at WDW enjoying your points.

Most of the time it takes a minimum of 60 days once you have an accepted offer before you end up with points in your account that you can use.

"The thrill of the hunt"....I'm going to put a sticky on my computer "don't make any more offers"

lol thanks, well the offer was excepted so now waiting on the contract to show up and from what I've read the wait really begins from here.

VERY excited I've been to Disney when I was younger and last year my wife, daughter, and in laws went in april on there dvc and I was hooked. We went back in September actually booked while we were still at Disney. Had another daughter a month ago otherwise we would've went again in april, but we're going back in september and now once dvc is done going to go during Christmas season(dream of wife to be in Disney for Christmas, and now my dream )

I AM ADDICTED TO DISNEY BTW, and so is my 2 yr old daughter and my wife who's been 30 something times.

Congrats on your offer being accepted. As others have stated, now comes the real wait.

even more nervous because I made an offer on OKW and it seems a lot of them are being declined through ROFR

We are so excited... We passed rofr this morning and now wait to close on 220 ssr points

It took 5 days after both parties accepted to get our contracts from the agent and only after several emails. If you don't hear back from them in a few days be proactive. I'm a pretty patient person but this whole process is very trying to say the least. :worried:

I actually upped my offer to have a better chance of getting through rofr...300.00 less wasn't worth the gamble, my family's Christmas vacation depends on these points.

Mine took 13 days to get signed even though the contract said the seller had 7 days to sign and return it. You are absolutely right when u say this is a trying process. Resale is not for those who want/need points right away. Like u, I kept on top of things and called every few days to make sure the sellers were going to return the signed contract. Nothing would have upset me more than to find out they weren't going to return the contract after waiting.

I know every purchase is different, but we made an offer on our DVC and heard back from the agent within probably ONE HOUR. All in all, our purchase was very smooth.
