Madd Hatter cake Pricing?

So the custom cake we wanted was $$$$$$ if i must say. So we've decided to do a madd hatter cake instead roughly how much is a 3 tier madd hatter cake? Do they charge extra for different designs? thanks

The 3-tier Mad Hatter cake is $980. As far as I know, they don't charge for different designs, but I suppose if you wanted a bunch of extra stuff made out of fondant, that would add to the price.

If you're an Escape bride that would like to upgrade to the Mad Hatter cake, how much of a credit do you get for the package-included cake? Basically, how much extra will it cost me to upgrade to a Mad Hatter?

In the past, they have counted the included cake as a $200 credit toward an upgraded cake. However, this may have changed since they introduced the new style choices for Escape wedding cakes.

However, if they do still do it, you could apply it toward a 2-tier Mad Hatter cake, which only costs $450, so then you'd just be out $250.

For our Mad Hatter cake it was the set price no matter what we wanted added to it. I found it to be one of the better priced cakes. They even added an extra frog to our topper for no extra charge.

If your requested mad hatter design is similar to the ones in the wish book, then the price would be the same. Simple changes like color combos, changing the diamond pattern for stripes, etc, fall in this category.

The requests that add to the cost are things like metallic painting, additional floral, custom made toppers, etc. Your coordinator can usually let you know up front if there will be additional charges. As they want to be sure you get the design your requesting, they always consult the bakery before promising anything.

We recently got our estimated budget and we chose the 3-tiered mad hatter with differ colors but still the similar look with stripes, shapes, etc. like the traditional one. We were quoted at $1,155 with the total being $1,230.08.

We were supposed to have an additional sheet cake because the 3-tiered mad hatter feeds a max of 85 ppl. I don't see on the BEO, but we actually don't need it anyway since our guest counting is much less than originally expected.

We want to change the look of our cake anyway to have the shape of the mad hatter but look like the azure cake since we'll be in the LSS. I'll let you know what that ends up doing to the price of the mad hatter. HTH!!!

Here is our two-tier Mad Hatter cake. It was $450.00 but we paid a bit extra for the real floral. I don't have my BEO in front of my right now so I don't know exactly how much the floral was but it wasn't that much more.

Our mad hatter is $980 wich is 1043.70 with tax and a 219.18 handeling charge too!! It is 3 tier ! HTH!

Silly, question....does that include the top layer. We're thinking of saving ours, but I don't want to deprive anyone... well, that doesn't bother me, but I don't want anyone coming home saying I was rude.

The top tier of all Disney wedding cakes is considered your anniversary/take home tier, and is not reflected in the guest count.

I just had my planning session yesterday. I asked about the 2 tier Mad Hatter cake and my planner told me that she had just done a party with 40 guests and they had to cut into the top tier. She said she thinks they will make a separate anniversary cake at no charge but she really wasn't sure about this.

WHere did you get your frog topper? I MUST have it!!! Did they amke them both?

The Disney pastry chefs made them both out of fondant. I wish we would've been able to keep them forever as a keepsake, but these frogs are well worth just the picture memory.
