Macy's Parade?

Hi! I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered but I am wondering if anyone knows the dates that Universal will have the Macy's parade? If in fact they are having it? I'm just trying to sort out our December itinerary so any information will be helpful .

Ive read nothing yet, but from past expeirence it is usualy the week after thanksgiving

I have been inquiring also.

I am big-time guessing after looking at last year's calendar and when they started, I am thinking they might start Grinchmas around December 5th.

They don't have the info up yet for this year, but last year it was December 7, 2007 - January 1, 2008 so I am guessing around that time.

The parade runs for about a month. I don't think the parade makes the parks busier. If you don't want to watch it, you can hit the attractions while everyone else is lined up for the parade. The parks are normally busy from Dec. 26 - Jan. 1 and would be even if they didn't have the parade. The earlier in Dec. you go the less crowded it will be.

We last experienced it in 2006 and the park wasn't busy at all. We enjoyed the parade though! We went to the preview center beforehand where we were offered to be in it holding one of the balloon leads but we declined because we realized we wouldn't actually see the parade if we did that. Maybe we will get a chance this year, might be fun!

we saw it on dec 7 2007 & the crowds were super light & the parade was awesome!!!
