I'm sure this has been discussed before but search isn't working now. Does the organizer cause the stroller to tip over if the child is not sitting in the stroller? Thanks.

I'm sure if you really load it up it would. We just keep a couple drink boxes in the cup holders, and 2 diapers/travel wipes, a couple of small toy cars, and a blankie in there. I've never had it tip the stoller. I like how it folds up with the stroller.

We can get our universal organizer loaded enough at times it will tip. I just bought inexpensive ankle weights (from WAl-Mart) and put them around the front two wheels. Solved the problem of tippiness and it will still fold with them on it. Granted it added a little bit of weight - but considering it's open most the time it was a good trade off for us.

Thanks!! I think I'll get it. On our last trip I kept water bottles in the shopping net underneath and they tore holes right through it. I've replaced the net, but I'd prefer not to have the same experience again.

that's a good idea! we have found that if we put water bottles in the organizer and there's no counterweight (like our 17 mo old daughter!), then it will tip. it seems to happen less if there's also stuff underneath. But are you able to fold up the stroller with no problems if you do that? And how many pounds are the weights?

I think they are 3 pound weights so it adds 6 pounds to the stroller. I was able to position them where I can still fold it with them on there so we don't have to constantly be taking them off. Another alternative is we would flip the organizer over into the seat when dd would get out and that worked - but it never failed that we would forget occasionally. The weights have worked best for us.

We just got the organizer for our stroller. I am not exactly sure where you are suppose to put it. Does it go where the handles are? I think I had it to low.
