Can anyone provide some insight on which of these would be better for me?? (The Maclaren website is down and so is the search function here!!)

I'm not as concerend with the price - moreso with being very, very happy with the stroller.

I have a 37" 28lb almost 3 year old and a 4 month old. I want the stroller for occassional use at home (light park walking - all paved paths) and the mall - and obviously our trip to Disney (in May - so baby will be 8 months).

When we tried the techno, the shoulders seemed tight for my older DD - but I couldn't find a Twin Triumph to test and can't find the shoulder measurements anwwhere - anyone have any experience with this?

All advice will be appreciated!!

I posted this exact thread about a month ago....most people said they were both good. We went with the Techno due to the full recline and it just seemed bigger to me.

We were trying to decide between these two strollers too. We went with the Techno. We have DS (3), DD (2) and #3 due in July. We decided on the Techno also because of the full recline. I remember reading that the twin triumph was 1" smaller in width than the techno, so the shoulder space you are concerned about probably won't be any better on the triumph. So far we love the stroller, but we have only had it for about a week. It will be getting it's first Disney try in less than two weeks!

Have any of you been able to "test drive" the double Maclaren strollers anywhere? I'm deciding between the two models, and I'm having trouble finding a store to see the strollers in person. So far I can only find them online. Thanks!

I have the triumph and its great, although honestly it doesn't seem all that comfy for a baby. It always seems to be kind of dumping her out. She's only being held in by the crotch strap.

My crew doesn't need full recline, as they never nap in strollers. I think I can count on one finger how many times any of them have napped in a stroller.

My 5yo rides in the stroller whenever she can, which is one reason we got it, because it has a higher weight rating. Sure, she seems clearly too big for it, but that doesn't bother her a bit. She doesn't 'need' to ride, but I get tired of always having to tell her she's too big to do the cool thing that the younger sibs are doing, ya know?

Overall, I love it. I don't remember the differences between it and the techno, but we picked it because the techno didn't seem to have $100 more usefulness.
