Maclaren Quest

I absolutely LOVE my Quest....but I don't think I would like it for one that small. It does recline - but not like you would want for a 4 month old. And although it does have the harness seatbelt I don't think I would be comfortable with that young of a child in it. Of course DD is 4 1/2 now and I don't really remember what 4 months was like.

If I remember correctly my Quest said it was for 3mo. and up. Having said that my DD was 5mo. when I bought it and she was very comfy in it.

:santa: :santa: :santa:

Do do recommend from 3 months and since the Quest inclines more than the Triumph, I would think it should be fine. Having said that, we purchased the Quest for my 5 year old but will pass iton to my now 4 month old after Disney.

It reclines more than the triumph and I'd say fine for a 4 month old for short periods but personally for long periods like touring the park I'd opt for the maclaren techno as that has a from birth lay back and it does make a fair bit of difference (I have a quest for my 17 m/o and it's good for him)

it should be fine. I used mine from age 8 weeks with my son who is now 6 months. You might need to prop a blanket one her sides so she doesn't slouch.

I used mine for DS on his first WDW trip at 3 months. He seemed quite comfy. However he was also a really big baby so much sturdier than most 3 month olds.

we bought our quest even before our dd was born. i was hoping to take it with us on our jan. trip (this past jan), but dd 3 1/2 mos. just didnt fit well in it at that age. we ended up taking our big stroller so dd would be more comfy. she is tiny so maybe that is the difference from pp's. at 6 mos i started using quest and its the only thing i use now!

I usually rent a stroller at Disney, but heard great things about this stroller. Well, I found a used one for $20 today and now we don't have to rent! Yeah us! I am using it for a small 5 year old.

I would say no. We have a quest and used it from when DD was 3 months old, but only for short trips, nothing more than an hour. When they are that little the stroller really swallows them up and it doesn't really recline enough. I would also want something with a better canopy. If you plan on wearing your baby all the time then maybe, but if the baby will spend the majority of time in the stroller then I say no. Plus with one that small you need to bring a ton of stuff with you and the quest's basket is very small.

The quest is a great stroller but I found the Zooper Twist and like it a lot better. It has a larger canopy and can pretty much cover the whole seat. my 23 lb 19 month old sits great in it and loves it. It does recline but not flat.
