We just got one (thanks to a grant!) and now I need a source where I can purchase the accessories for it like the sunshade. Any recommendations?

Thank you for the information! And yes, it is the Maclaren Major Elite stroller. We were so lucky to get it free along with lots of other home safety equipment (door alarms, bed rails, shatter proof glass for our windows, sensory toys...) for our ASD daughter. St. Louis has lots of funding available for children with developmental disabilities.

My daughter's case manager at DD Resources (you probably use Regional Center) knew about the funding and set up an appointment for us with another agency called Adapt Ability. Adapt Ability makes homes safe for children with disabilities and will also fund the purchase of sensory related equipment and toys. They receive their funding through grants. Talk to your case manager at Regional Center as he/she may have information on funding sources for your family.
