Mackinaw City, MI help...........

We loved Darrow's so much we ate there three times (and we only stayed one night in Mackinaw City!) but the food at the Dixie Saloon was awful.

If anyone is looking for a hotel on the island, I recommend the Lilac Tree Inn. We really enjoyed our stay there.

I agree, Darrows is very good. However, we like the Dixie Saloon too. We eat there every trip and have never had anything less than an enjoyable meal. The whitefish basket in particular is yummy.
