If anyone remembers my last computer post, my notebook is slowly dying. It is suffering through a long slow miserable death and I cannot figure out why. I have done everything in my power to fix it, but it constantly crashes, freezes, etc. etc. There are no viruses, no spyware ... all drivers up to date. 
Anyway, I am thinking about buying a macbook and leaving the Microsoft world. The macbook pro is definitely out of my price range. I am looking at the regular line. Anyone own one and have opinions of it? Is there a better place to buy them than Apple direct? Thanks.
