Macaulay Salmon Hatchery excursion

Hi. We're coming up on our Alaskan cruise in about 30 days and I've gone over some of the available excursions and have a question about the hatchery in Juneau. Has anybody been on an excursion to this hatchery and if so, did you like it? It's currently bundled with a trip to the Mendenhall glacier for a total of 2.5 hours. If you've been to either or both, would you recommend buying the bundle or just waiting until we walk off of the ship and find some local tours?
