It's not costume make up. It's just regular make up. It's not supposed to appeal to "children who should not be wearing makeup". It's just a line of make up that anyone can wear that is Disney Villain themed. It's catered toward everyone.

Lyn, MAC is a brand of makeup sold in department stores, or stand alone MAC stores. They come out with different limited edition items every so often and and it just so happens that the new theme is Disney Villians.

They sent me a free shipping code today and of course everything from the line that I like is already sold out. I was only able to get the Devilishly Stylish lip gloss.

Department stores and malls are over an hour drive away. Makeup in central Maine comes from WalMart and CVS.

Villainous makeup seems like a very clever and sort of cute marketing gimick. But I do not see "toxic green" Maleficent face makeup! Wonder why...

I ended up getting I'm So Vain Mirror (Dr. Facilier), Resort Lift Clear Color Gloss (Dr. Facilier), Push the Edge Pigment Powder (Dr. Facilier), Her Alter Image Eye Shadow (Evil Queen) and Toxic Tate Lipstick (Evil Queen).

I love how I said I would get Maleficent and Facilier stuff and ended up with the Evil Queen and Dr. Facilier. I may go back and get some more stuff when I pick up Beauty and the Beast on Tuesday. I really like the Maleficent duo eyeshadow.

Here's a picture of me with the Maleficent Duo Eye Shadow, Her Alter Image, Toxic Tate and one of the Evil Queen's lip glosses. They put stuff on me that wasn't from the line that I don't know the names of, but this is what they used from the Villains line.

It's not a pretty picture of me. Sorry.

We went to our appointments today and they had big cut outs of Cruella and the Evil Queen. They also had Cruella's fur coat, gloves and sunglasses, and the Evil Queen's crown and cape. We got to have our pictures taken after we had our makeup done wearing the costumes. It was a lot of fun!

I bought a lot and I'm loving all that I bought...almost everything is sold out on the MAC site and a lot of the popular items are gone from the counters and MAC stores as well. I put a hold on all the items I wanted a week prior to collection launch at Bloomingdales because I know everything would fly off the shelves.

I bought Heartless lipstick and Wicked Ways lipglass from the Cruella collection.

I got Bite of An Apple blush from the Evil Queen collection.

I picked up the magically cool powder in Cajun, the I'm So Vain Mirror and Resort Life lipgele from the Shadow Man collection (Dr. Facilier).

And my fave villain is Maleficent so I picked up almost everything from that collection...She Who Dares mineralized eyeshadow duo, My Dark Magic mineralized eyeshadow duo, Briar Rose beauty powder, Revenge is Sweet lipglass, Violetta lipstick, Bad Fairy nail polish and Formidable! nail polish.

I got lots and since I'm a makeup addict it's only natural for me. I'll be at MNSSHP this coming 31st so I need to come up with a great look for the party using these products. I'm so happy!

Love this make up. One thing I don't get though - since it's make up, and usually is made to appeal to women, I just don't get Dr. Facilier as one of the villians they included here. I know Disney always tries to promote their most recent movies, but he is not someone I want to see on the package when I put on my make up and I would probably avoid any of the products from that part of the line! So many female villains were left out here. Ursula from Little mermaid would have seemed like an obvious choice. Also, let's not forget Lady Tremaine (Cinderella's stepmother) or the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland.

Well I finally had some time to make it to my MAC counter and I found a few things that have made me giddy. Im happily wearing Vile Violet eyeshadow today and Briar Rose Beauty Powder, which gives a great burst to me and my colouring.
I did also splurge, as I love Red lipstick and get Cruella's colour. However that's more for special occasions.

I am going to go stop by the Mac store at my local mall tomorrow, which happens to be the Mall of America Hopefully they still have the maleficent eyeshadow that is sold out online. I agree about Dr. F, Ursula would have been awesome!

I bought the Maleficent lipgloss (purple one) and both of the eyeshadow sets (purple one and blue/green). They are so pretty! Very sparkly. First Mac products I have ever bought, excited to try them.
